The Boardwalk
The famous Boardwalk
of Atlantic City is packed with a wide array of arcades, games, shops and eateries.
The Boardwalk also has a mini-golf course for future PGA players.
Sports
The Atlantic City area has a couple of other options for young sports-lovers. The Flyer's Skate Zone offers public ice-skating and supervised ice-hockey games, as well as lessons on each. Next-door is Sandcastle Stadium, home to American League Baseball's the Atlantic City Surf.
The stadium is very family-friendly and has many special nights for
youngsters.
Other Fun
Check out some unique and educational attractions in the area, such as Storybook
Land, a one-of-a-kind theme park designed to resemble the various settings in classic children's stories and nursery rhymes. There's some walking around to do, but older kids will be bored.
Lucy The
Elephant, a fixture of the Atlantic City area since 1881, is the world's largest wooden elephant, a National Historic Landmark, and a local museum that exhibits many historical artifacts and documents about southern New Jersey.
Kids won't be interested in going inside, but they love to look at this unusual
site. It's best combined with a trip to the local beach. The Ocean Life Center at historic Gardener's Basin offers a fun and informative way to learn about various
sea life through a large collection of aquariums.

Nearby Ocean City is a renowned family vacation destination. A dry town, Ocean City is the perfect place to bring the kids, offering pristine beaches, its own fun-filled boardwalk, amusement piers, mini-golf, and much more. Major highlights here include
