It's hard to believe that it was only a few years ago that Atlantic City didn't have a single beach bar. That's right - there was no place to have a cocktail and check out hot, bikini-clad chicks and ripped, tan hunks while rock bands drowned out the peaceful sounds of the tide rolling in. Bikini Beach Bar at Bally's Billed as "the hottest party on the beach," Bally's Bikini Beach Bar not only features beautiful and scantily clad ladies, but also drinks, food, entertainment, and an awesome atmosphere. The beach bar is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m. Live entertainment is provided from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. during the week, and from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Food is served from 11:30 a.m. until closing. The menu includes hot dogs, wraps, shrimp cocktail and salads.
Hilton Beach Bar The Atlantic City Hilton Beach Bar is open daily and features live entertainment from 2 p.m. to 10 pm. The menu features fresh fruit, shrimp, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Favorites include a half rack of tender ribs in a tasty BBQ sauce, and grilled sweet Italian sausage with sautéed peppers and onions on a torpedo roll. Beverage options include such creative drinks as the Man Overboard, South Beach, Coco Nuts and Midnight Pass. Ask for a "shake and take" glass so you can bring it home with you.
Trump Plaza Beach Bar Last year, Trump Plaza's Beach Bar entered the big leagues with the addition of a full kitchen, a 12-by-24-foot raw bar and grill. This year will be even bigger with entertainment provided daily, and beginning in July they will offer a monthly Sunday night concert series featuring Eddie Money, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, and the Sugar Hill Gang. The Beach Bar is open from 11:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. on weeknights, and until 4 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and holidays. Party hearty!
