How long have you lived in Atlantic City?
I grew up in Atlantic City and lived in Margate until I graduated from
college. I have been back in town for a little over three years.
Are you married or single; do you have any children?
I am married with two young sons: Carson and Zachary
What do you like most about Atlantic City?
The beach and boardwalk. There is nothing better than an early morning jog
on the boardwalk.
Describe your perfect day in Atlantic City.
Breakfast on the deck at Gilchrest then a long day on the beach with a good
book. A stop at one of the beach bars before leaving the beach for dinner at
one of our great restaurants. The day has to be topped off with dessert at
Brulee.
What originally brought you to AC?
A stork
Why do you think Atlantic City has become so hot over the last couple
of years?
We’ve rounded out our product offerings to become a year-round destination
providing something for everyone. Many of these new offerings such as
restaurants, nightclubs and shopping appeal to a younger demographic.
Where do you see the city in 10 years?
As the top regional destination in the country. It will be a prime location
for conventions and leisure travelers looking for great entertainment, first
class accommodations, special events and dining options.
What is your part in getting there?
As the leader in promoting Atlantic City, we will be promoting all of the
great new products, changing old (and wrong) perceptions of the City and
bring new events to town. We will do this through PR, advertising, and our
film and sports marketing initiatives.
Tell us about your favorite AC memory.
Rowing for ACHS and always looking forward to summer
You’ve got two hours to kill on the boardwalk, what do you do?
It seems that the boardwalk is improving all the time. I would just walk the
length of the boardwalk and look at all of the new shops, restaurants, and
tourist attractions.
What’s your favorite casino? Hotel? Bar? Restaurant? - and why?
I don’t have a favorite since they each offer something different and I
like variety.
What three words describe Atlantic City best?
Younger, better, hipper
What’s your favorite part of working with the Convention &
Visitors Authority?
Working with a talented and dedicated team. I’m also lucky to be at the
ACCVA when Atlantic City is experiencing tremendous capital investment
