How long have you lived in Atlantic City? I have lived here for a
few years.
Are you married or single; do you have any children? I am divorced
with a beautiful 2-year-old princess who takes up my time when I am not
concentrating on my job and career.
What do you like most about Atlantic City? There are plenty of
opportunities here for all types of people.
Describe your perfect day in Atlantic City. A perfect day in AC
for me would be to wake up in the early morning and go jogging on the
boardwalk with my daughter’s running stroller, and then go to Country Kitchen for a nice relaxing breakfast. After breakfast is over, I would go
home to pack up my truck for a nice BBQ on the beach with all my girls and
then lay out till the late afternoon. Since I am a businesswoman, I would
finish off my day with closing a nice deal that would make my boss Harry
Hayman very happy!
What originally brought you to AC? The whole energy of the city.
Where do you see the city in 10 years? Fully renovated with less
unemployment, and a nightlife that could possibly stun Vegas!
What is your part in getting there? Getting involved with the
community and dealing with Atlantic City’s total growth.
Tell us about your favorite AC memory. In the early morning, my
twin sister and I use to go with my grandmother to the boardwalk with lots
of bread and feed the birds. Most of the time my sister would eat most of
the bread before we even got there. Those were the days!
You’ve got two hours to kill on the boardwalk, what do you do? Sit
on the beach and write music. However, if my daughter were with me, I know
would be spending all my money trying to win her stuffed animals!
Why should I go to The Sound of Philadelphia? First and foremost
because I am there! No I am just joking. TSOP is the best thing that has
happened to AC and an establishment that is very well needed. TSOP doesn’t
give just great food, great service, great ambiance, but great music
provided by the legendary music icons Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff.
What’s your favorite casino? Hotel? Bar? Restaurant? - and why?
Tropicana is my favorite Hotel and Casino because they provide the best
service and accommodations. My favorite bar is Deja Vu because Willie allows
me to dance on the bar! My favorite Restaurant is Zanzibar Blue in
Philadelphia because it is literally the trendsetter of any incredible and
successful restaurant. The owners Robert and Ben Bynum are brilliant men who
have created an establishment that is truly the originators of the
combination of great food and undeniable music.
What three words describe Atlantic City best? Beach, Boardwalk,
and Casino.
Dealer shows 17 you’ve got a pair of 8s – how do you play them?
Always split them and hope to God you get a 10 on each hand. If I win I
think I’ll buy a new pair of shoes. I definitely have a shoe fetish!
What’s your favorite part of The Sound of Philadelphia? The
Stage because it has become literally "history in the making."
TSOP’s stage will become the place where new artists will become
legitimized!
