Noel Stevenson is one of the marketing whizzes that have helped make the
Borgata such a success. Heard of the Borgata? 'Nough said. She received her

in 2003 and has experience in retail marketing/entertainment
journalism/sports PR.
How long have you lived in Atlantic City? Two years
Are you married or single? Boyfriend, no children
What do like most about Atlantic City? There’s excitement 24/7 and
opportunity for AC is great. Its future looks bright as a travel
destination.
Describe your perfect day in Atlantic City? Wake up…Lay out on the
beach for a few hours, then off to Spa Toccare for a Borgata Bliss
treatment, off to Gypsy Bar for some cocktails (love the Strawberry-Vanilla
mojitos), followed by dinner at Luke Palladino’s restaurant Ombra, then
off to a great show like Gwen Stefani or Aerosmith & Lenny Kravitz at
the Borgata Event Center. MIXX nightclub late-night.
What originally brought you to AC? The opportunity to work at Borgata.
Our CEO Bob Boughner is a true visionary and I was impressed with how
Borgata was changing the face of Atlantic City with non-gaming amenities
like dining, entertainment, and nightlife. I am fortunate to work with a
group of really intelligent people who I learn from everyday.
Where do you see the city in 10 years? I see luxury condos, more dining
and retail options, non-stop nightlife.
What is your part in getting there? The Atlantic City story is a great
one to tell because it has tons of history and there is a tremendous amount
of opportunity ahead. On national level, people are realizing what’s going
on in AC and thinking of the city as a travel destination with more to offer
than gaming. We do lot of events outside the AC market in NYC, Miami, and
Philadelphia and the buzz is good. Borgata is continuing to evolve as an
East Coast travel destination with “more Borgata” coming in 2006 with
restaurants by acclaimed chefs Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina, and Bobby Flay,
an expanded poker room and casino, and more nightlife.
Tell us about your favorite AC memory. Last April, we worked with Food
& Wine magazine on the first-ever Women in Wine at Borgata benefiting
Living Beyond Breast Cancer. It was truly a great concept to bring to life
and be able to work with world-class chefs and winemakers like Gina Gallo,
Joy Sterling, Rhonda Carano, who are outstanding women changing the face of
the wine industry. The highlight of the evening was being able to support
such an amazing cause and raise a $75k donation to LBBC.
You’ve got two hours to kill on the boardwalk, what do you do? If I had
2 hours to kill I’m on the beach (if its summer) – In 2006, I would be
shopping at The Forum Shops
Why should I go to the Borgata? Borgata offers the experience of being in
the center of it all. You can have many different kinds of experiences at
Borgata—no matter what you’re seeking you can find it here. Great
restaurants, A-list performances and events year-round, a 54,000 square ft
spa, exciting nightlife options, action-packed casino & poker room
packaged in first-class hotel accommodations without ever having to leave
Borgata and only parking your car once.
Is there something that I will only find at the Borgata and not other AC
hot spots? Borgata is a lifestyle. We have a signature style and its emanate
in everything we do…we have a signature fragrance (PULSE for her), our own
CD, and of course, the “Babes of Borgata” Calendar.”
What’s your favorite casino? Hotel? Bar? Restaurant? - and why? I like Bellagio and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas – MIX in Vegas –and
Suilan by Susanna Foo - MIXX at Borgata to listen to some of my favorite DJs
like Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, and DJ AM.
What three words describe Atlantic City best? Opportunity – Growth -
