Some come to Atlantic City to catch some rays. Some come to test their luck at the slot machines or the blackjack tables. Some come for the headline entertainment. And some just come to dance, dance, dance. The question is, where? Your posse doesn't want to waste the time or money in cover charges by traveling from place to place. The key is to already be in the right place and let them come to you. No matter what you're looking for; bottle service, lounges, alternative lifestyles, we'll let you know where to find it. Now the only question is, y'all ready for this?

The Great Eight of Atlantic City's Nightclubs
8.STUDIO SIX 12 S Mt. Vernon
Once upon a time, Studio Six was the only bastion for Atlantic City's gay community. Nights named "Gay Sundays" might lead you to believe otherwise, but the club actually isn't predominatly gay anymore. Let's just say that it's been down-graded from hardcore gay to bi-curious. Studio Six is actually part of the Club Tru mega-plex and you're free to cross between thetwo. Studio Six gets hopping pretty late (or extremely early in the morning), and is a great place to go if you're a night owl or just one of those people who gets up at three in the morning with an extreme need to party. The crowd tends to be made up of locals more than visitors, probably due to the more reasonable drink prices and cover charges than are found in the big boys of Mixx and the Casbah. You can count on lots of drink specials and wacky (but fun) theme nights. A good example is Wacked-Out Wednesdays with 50-cent domestic beer, 50- cent well cocktails, $2.75 Amstel Lights and Heinekens. Cover varies; Typically $15 Sat nights.
7.CLUB TRU 9 S Martin Luther King Blvd
Club Tru is a wonderful magical place where everyone is forced by ancient decree to tell the truth. Married men talk openly about their wives, dancers about their breast augmentation surgery, and everyone knows who drove the rusted circa 1988 Civic Wagon parked out front. Wouldn't that be awful? Fortunately, no such enchantment has befallen the club, feel free to spin any tales you wish of your exotic travels and riches. Club Tru is comprised of two full-fledged clubs (Club Tru & Studio Six), Joe's Sports Bar on the first floor, Perfect 10 Martini Lounge & 4C's VIP Lounge on the third floor. There's also the Club Tru Energy Bar featuring all sorts of drinks made with Red Bull. You'll need the extra energy to make it through the evening here as the music doesn't stop until 11am the next morning. Music is mostly Trance, House & Euro. It's not as classy as other joints, but the evenings are raucus and dirty - in the fun way. Cover varies; Typically $15 Sat nights.
6.DEJA VU 245 S New York
With sexy lighting and beautiful women delivering shots, Deja Vu is the club where anything can and does happen. Located just off the Boardwalk, Deja Vu has an impressive sound and light system that will keep you boppin' through the different levels of the club. An upscale dress code keeps the rabble-rousers out and the hotness in. The music is almost always house and hip-hop unless it's one of the special event nights. It's becoming a hot spot for karaoke and a male review show on Saturday nights before the club opens for regular business. We've seen some kinky stuff go down in the wee hours here and it's made an indelible impression on us. Thanks! Stick around and the same might happen to you. Closed Mondays. Cover: $10
5.THE WAVE Trump Marina
The Wave is a great place to get down and boogie. You won't get the thumpin' sounds of hiphop and house like in the other clubs, but you will find some great live music from cover bands. When groups like Don't Call Me Francis are in the house, the place goes absolutely nuts. The clientele is on the older side for a club - mid-30's and up- but you never know who's going to show up on any given night. While the weather is still warm, it's a fantastic follow-up to visiting The Deck downstairs at the Marina. We've been coming here for years and we still can't figure it out; you won't be blown-away by the sound, the interior and the service are unimpressive; yet The Wave is still one hell of a good time. The crowd is mostly locals looking to have a good time and meet other people. Leave the glowsticks at home. Cover: $10. 4.MISSILE BAR The Quarter
We love the Quarter, and we love Cuba Libre, and in turn, we love the Missile Bar. According to the Missile Bar's official website, a pretty woman has a decent chance of having her face licked by an attractive man. Despite that, and the phallic name of the club, Missile Bar is a great place for fabulous and hot dancing--but not until the wee hours of the weekends. The Missile Bar is only open on Friday and Saturday nights with doors opening at 11pm. At other times it's known as the second floor of Cuba Libre. Still, the bar does draw a fun crowd looking to get down. It's the only place to dance at the Quarter, so you can be sure that there will always be a bunch of people there. One of the fun attractions of the bar is that the Missile actually goes through a launch sequence with lights, smoke and sounds. It's especially enjoyed after a couple of mojitos. Cover: $10 3.MIXX Borgata
Up close or at a safe distance, Mixx is the people-watching place. The Borgata nightclub fills up on the weekend and is a prime spot to gaze and/or gawk. Comfy couches on the second floor are the perfect place to lounge while taking in the sight of the revelers below. The wait staff is also deliciously gawkable, and will provide fabulous bottle service for the partier who wants to impress. More than any other club in Atlantic City, Mixx takes bottle service to the next level. It's in such demand that they've had to set up a Table Service hotline (609-317-TBLE) to handle reservations. Keep an eye out for well-known guest DJs who drop in all the time. Cover: $20 on Sat. ; $10 for guys, on Fri. 2.CASBAH Taj Mahal
Shariff may not like it, but that doesn't stop the gorgeous Casbah dancers from rockin'. The Casbah is probably the most well known and established nightclub in Atlantic City. It's been packing in the hotties for years; and attracts a lot of out-of-towners. Consequently, it's obvious people are there to have a good time. Nobody wants to get in the car and spend the money for a hotel room without whoopin' it up. Since ladies always get in free, it's a popular location for bachelorette parties. The club is only open on Friday and Saturday nights. When the doors open at about 10:30pm, it's mostly women that are flooding in. As the night goes on, the smell of Drakkar gets stronger and the guys start filing in. By midnight there's an equal ratio and the place is jammed. By 2am, it's doubly packed. This is when the outdoor patio, Star Bar, comes in handy. You can have a couple of cocktails outside and get some fresh air. The Casbah's dancers are the best in the business. They rarely perform together in routines like at Mixx, but instead dance individually in cages and on small platforms overhead. DJ Skribble has been known to drop in and DJ Jazzy Jeff was recently in the house. Cover: Friday $10; Sat. $20; Ladies always free. 1.Mur.Mur Borgata
