Currently under construction, The Pier at Caesars, is expected to open in early 2006. The $175 million project is located on one of Atlantic City's historic piers, directly across from (and soon to be connected to) Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, and adjacent to Bally's/Wild Wild West Casinos.
Atlantic City is the number one tourist attraction on the East Coast with over 37 million visitors per year. With approximately 320,000 square feet of prime retail and restaurant space, The Pier was conceived as an upscale fashion retail, dining and state-of-the art entertainment destination. Nearly 100 retail stores will accompany nine restaurants on four floors over the beach that connects the Atlantic Ocean to Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk. Shopping High-end luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tourneau, Tommy Bahama's Vilebrequin and Hugo Boss among others have signed on to this exciting shopping, dining and entertainment complex. Dining High profile Philadelphia-based restaurateur Stephen Starr has committed to bring two of his successful restaurant concepts to the Pier. Asian-themed Buddakan and swanky Continental will join Phillip's Seafood of Baltimore and six other restaurants, one of which will be created by renowned restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow of Las Vegas' Rum Jungle
