Centrally located on Pacific Avenue, the Claridge is an intimate casino that is part of Bally's Atlantic City, which makes it part of the Harrah's family. Neon, flash and campy themes are not the protocol here, which can be refreshing for those looking to relax a bit. An expanded version of the original hotel built in 1930, the exterior façade of the Claridge has remained relatively unchanged. The resort's interior, though refurbished and modern, is also modestly decorated in comparison to the larger resorts. But the Claridge is not without its amenities. For instance, there are a variety of restaurants available, as well as lounges, a theater, health spa and more. Divided among three floors, the gaming hall is altogether well illumed, intimate, and offers attentive customer service. The casino is roughly 59,000 square feet, with more than 1,700 slot machines available. Slot denominations range from nickel slots to $25 a pull. Table games include Blackjack , Roulette, Big Six, Craps, Mini-Craps, Baccarat, Mini Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tile, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let it Ride and Spanish 21. The Claridge casino also features the game Surrender, a variation of Blackjack, as well as Multiple Action Blackjack, which offers three times the action for your money. In this version players are allowed to play three rounds of Blackjack with a single hand against the dealer's first card. Dining at the Claridge includes The Twenties, located on the 6th floor (closed Wednesdays and Thursdays), Martino's, located on the 3rd floor (closed Mondays and Tuesdays), and the 24-hour Lucky's, also on the 3rd floor. The 8th floor recreation area features a glass-enclosed swimming pool, a coed cardiovascular room and health spa with steam and sauna rooms, universal exercise equipment, a suntan salon and whirlpools. Also on the 8th floor is the Primary Colors beauty salon. The Claridge offers a 900-space self-parking garage, which is connected directly to the building, alleviating the search for the skywalk.
