EDITORIAL REVIEW
In fact, a major renovation in 2004 expanded Resorts' gaming hall to 100,000 square feet of light, bright and airy casino space, with 200 art-deco style chandeliers and neon lighting fixtures showcasing more than 2,500 of the newest slots in denominations from a penny to $100. Table game options are far from lacking as well with Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette, Mini-Baccarat, Craps, Pai Gow, Pai Gow Tiles and Caribbean Stud Poker in addition to the hottest specialty games such as Double Attack Blackjack, Two-Card Joker Poker, Single Deck Blackjack and, of course, Texas Hold 'Em Poker, with tournaments regularly held in the Poker Room.
And even the most discriminating foodies will be delighted with Resorts' dining, beginning with the Zagat award-winning Italian restaurant, Capriccio, one of the finest restaurants in the city. Additional gourmet venues are celebrated New York eatery, Gallagher's steak house, and Asian Spice. If more casual fare is on your menu for the day, you have your choice of Breadsticks Cafe & Grill, The Buffet, Gallagher's Burger Bar and Showtime Tabou Bistro, the only dinner theater on the Atlantic City boards. And Boardwalk Perks will keep you going with a cup of Joe.
The Superstar Theater is aptly named with past performers such as Engelbert Humperdinck and Whoopi Goldberg, but headline entertainment is an area in which Resorts is really kicking up the volume. They kicked off 2005 with a terrific Snoop Dogg show that the city is still talking about. So you should definitely keep an eye on Resorts' entertainment calendar.
If sleek and chic lounges are more your gig, you have a choice of two: Luna Lounge and 25 Hours Bar.
The new Rendezvous tower delivers oversized standard rooms (ranging from 512 to 576 square feet) with opulent marble bathrooms to match. Each of the 42 Rendezvous suites feature more than 1,000 sophisticated square feet and boast Jacuzzi tubs in every bathroom. And guests staying in the Ocean Tower will enjoy the fantastic views of sun, sea and boards.
Resorts' Health Club & Spa showcases an ingenious indoor-outdoor pool with even more breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views and hosts a bevy of spa services such as massage, saunas and steams in addition to a good, old fashioned work-out in the health club.

I SEEM TO FREQUENT AC 6 TIMES A YR AND EVERY TIME I STAY AT THE TAJ MAHAL. THIS TIME WE CHOSE TO STAY AT RESORTS. THE TOWER ROOMS ARE UNBELIEVABLE FOR PRICE AND VALUE. VERY CLEAN AND UPDATED. I LOVE THIS CASINO. WHAT A GREAT LAYOUT AND ALWAYS HAS AVAILABLE MACHINES IN MANY DENOMINATIONS. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I HAVE TO ADD IS THE DRINK SERVERS. NOT VERY FRIENDLY AND YOU CAN NEVER FIND ONE WHEN YOU NEED THEM. I SAT IN AN OPEN AREA AND DID NOT SEE A DRINK GIRL FOR OVER ONE HR, I MEAN CMON GUYS. ONE HOUR!!!! THATS WAY TO LONG FOR ONE OF AC'S GREATEST CASINOS.... STILL WOULD COME BACK AGAIN.

Me and my husband have been staying at Resorts since the 80's so we have experienced its downhill swing. Our recent stay gave us hope and I have to say that Resorts has totally reinvented itself! The lobby, halls, rooms, almost everything seems to be updated and has that fresh new feel to it. This was totally needed since it was so old and dreary looking. Resorts is also located in a great area. Right next to the Taj. I think Resorts still has some more upgrading to do but I think it will eventually get there.
