One of the primary advantages of the Borgata is that it's the newest casino in town. It was built from the ground up with the latest amenities and a Vegas-type experience in mind. Until Revel opens up in a couple of years, there's no way an existing casino can compete with it.

Borgata has an enormous and beautiful 161,000-square-foot casino floor that has approximately 4,100 slot machines and 200 table games. The table limits are usually a bit higher than the other casinos, which is indicative of the clientele here- but you might be surprised to find that there are plenty of young people mixed in with the high rollers. 

One of the big draws for table game players is the Borgata poker room, the biggest in town. It has all the nifty amenities as well as a steady flow of players. The weekday tournaments are the biggest in town and special events like the Borgata Poker Open really pack them in.

Even if you're not here to play, the Borgata has something for you too. Celebrity chef Luke Palladino offers up two Italian eateries:Specchio restaurant andOmbra, a trattoria and wine bar. Bobby Flay brings youBobby Flay Steak and you can also enjoy celebrity cuisine at theWolfgang Puck American Grill. A New York landmark comes to the Borgata withOld Homestead Steakhouse, featuring hand-massaged Kobe beef. And then there'sSeablue from celebrated chef, Michael Mina. For more casual dining, guests of the resort can hitBorgata Buffet,The Metropolitan,N.O.W.andThe Cafeteria featuring a bevy of eateries such as Fatburger, Tony Luke's and Panda Express.

Work off those extra calories in the Pump Room and then relax in Spa Toccare, a 54,000-square-foot bastion of relaxation.
