I do not know what most of you expect when you eat a sit down to a great buffet in a fine establishment like the Borgata/ a touristy vacation retreat as well! Seroiusly, you aren't going to pay $10 for all of the great selections you get when you are there. As far as the food, it is top notch! The selections are out of this world with a variety from italian to chinese, japanese, sushi, and greek as well. From the breakfast buffet to the dinner buffet evrything is out of this world. The gelato station and the dessets out weigh the cheesy desserts found on most buffet cards throughout Nj/AC. So the next time you are at another buffet-really look closely and observe-the...spend the extra money or get a comp and try the Borgata-you won't be disappointed you did!! I have eaten there over a dozen times and I have never had to complain once-and i am a complainer!

I've tried many buffets, and this one ranks right at the top. There is a plethora of choices of seafood, not the least of which was soft shell crabs. The mussels were tender and the desserts were second to none. This buffet is definitely slanted towards the seafood lover. If it was more well-rounded I would go ahead and say it is the best in the region. Even still, you can be extremely satisfied with the quality of the seafood, it's freshness and preparation are outstanding.

The place is nice. But you can get the same food and quality (or maybe a better food) you get here in a nice Chinese/International Buffet for less than $10 compared to what you pay for in Borgata Buffet.

I was so disappointed in the Borgata buffet, as much of the food was WAY too highly spiced for me. I can't believe the chefs there don't realize that many customers, especially older ones like myself who are frequent customers at buffets, don't like spicy-hot foods. I wouldn't return, I'm sorry to say. I should also note that children would be very upset by the hot spices in much of the food, which is why I say the restaurant is not family-friendly.

People who know seafood know that soft shell crabs are very expensive and hard to find, these were excellent, small and crunchy. The clams were little necks which also are expensive. There were so many other different items to choose from, a dinner platter of such food would definitely be more than the price of the buffet. It is a little pricy but you get the best and all you want. We will be back again. You can find a cheaper buffet but that's what you get - cheap food. I think everyone should try this place at least once, the selection of food if overwhelming - make sure you're hungry when you go.

My son took the family to the Borgata buffet for my birthday. There was so much to choose from. The items seemed like they were cooked just for us and not the usual "been sitting there forever buffet style". We loved everything! We are planning to go back real soon.

Borgata Dinner Buffet was a huge disappointment, especially considering it's in this beautiful new hotel. Soups were terrible, overbreaded fried shrimp, tasteless and very limited seafood, decent carved prime rib but no carved turkey - only disgusting carved stuffed pork loin. Fantastic desserts, including real gelato, helped but you can get same at much less expensive lunch.
