Cuba Libre Restaurant And Rum Bar

Just say si to The Quarter's culinary flagship - the Cuban restaurant in the Cuban-themed complex. Spread nicely over two floors with tons of appropriately Cuban decor, Cuba Libre is a must-see in AC. The restaurant has the most recognizable entrance of any in the city: at the front door sits a lovingly restored 1951 Buick painted in a Cuban flag scheme. T he bar is the rum equivalent to Red Square and its devotion to vodka; well over 100 rums are available. On top of great decorations and premium booze (sample liberally from the extensive mojito menu, we say), there's a menu that can't be beat. You'd be loco not to try the chicharrones de la casa, black bean soup, and arroz con pollo (chicken with rice). There's also a stunning nightlife - Wednesday nights are late-night Latin, with salsa lessons, discounted drinks, and plenty of scenery. At 11pm on weekend nights, part of the top floor becomes the Missile Bar, usually open until dawn while playing vocal house and dance.
