Flying Cloud

You can sometimes watch the fresh seafood being delivered by the commercial boats daily from this outstanding waterfront location. Lunches are simple sandwich fare. At dinner, the local fish and shellfish specials go especially well with the sea views from historic Gardner's Basin, where local legend holds that rum runners brought their product into the area from during Prohibition. The décor at Flying Cloud makes the restaurant resemble a clipper ship, and almost everything somehow fits into the predictably nautical theme. Signature entrees include a seafood Fra diavolo over pasta and grilled tuna steak.
