EDITORIAL REVIEW

The Knife & Fork Inn is located at the corner of Atlantic and Pacific Avenues in Atlantic City, only three blocks from the Hilton and about eight blocks from Tropicana. There is an extensive (read: 10,000+ bottles) wine selection with a sommelier on premises. Open from 5pm seven days a week for dinner and Fridays for lunch from 11:30 to 4:30. When the Knife and Fork reopened in July of 2005 under the leadership of chef/owner Frank Dougherty and family (of Dock's Oyster House fame) it was probably the most anticipated opening of a non-casino property in AC in the last 10 years. The public areas of the building have been completely redone with an eye toward restoration instead of modernization, and the kitchen spaces went the opposite way, with everything being completely new. While Dock's is a seafood house and roughly 80/20 seafood/meat, Knife and Fork's menu reverses those proportions. And dessert can't be forgotten: CityAtlantic says to try the Profiteroles.

USER REVIEWS OF KNIFE & FORK INN

The Grandeur of the Past 10.0 Stars

The Knife and Fork was always the benckmark for fine dining in AC.After several different owners the new owners have restored this restaurant to its heyday. The bar is comfortable and well served, the menu is diverse and elegant. The service shows that customers are a priority. If you get the chance, this is one sure bet in Atlantic City.
