Library Iii

Library III, located at 6605 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, is open daily for dinner and late night snacks: Monday-Saturday, 4:30-midnight; Sunday, 3:30-11:30pm. There is live entertainment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. No reservations are necessary, nor are they accepted. The practice of not taking reservations is an integral part of the motif here, believe it or not: the restaurant says that they want all diners to come in person, and the lounge where parties often wait for tables is where the live entertainment performs. We've talked to people and read reviews where the people complained about the wait being too short (really, no kidding) because the lounge was such a good time. Fridays and Saturdays in season the wait can approach an hour. If you sit on the first floor, you get the opportunity to place your order directly with the chef. Feel free to ask questions and make sure you get exactly what you want. Before you return to your table, you can help yourself to the Library III's terrific salad bar. It's not in the middle of the city like Morton's or The Palm, but their steaks stand up to any in town.
