| Editorial Review |
One can encapsulate this Margate eatery simply by saying "good idea, average execution". Mojo's is located just steps from the beautiful bay and the water is visible from some of their outdoor tables. Parking can be a problem due to the fact that most lots in the area are owned by competing restaurants. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with a unique, hip style that is rarely seen in the Atlantic City area. However, getting a cocktail at the bar to start your meal may be the highlight of the evening. The bar staff is friendly and offers a healthy pour. In the way of food, Mojo's offers a complete menu from appetizers like Shrimp Cocktail and Spicy Jumbo Lump Crab Salad to desserts like Crème Brule. The issue with Mojo's centers on the consistency of their fare and service. On some nights a friendly waiter will serve well-prepared dishes like Osso Buco, but on others nights you might find your Ahi appetizer far from appetizing. In our staff's opinion Mojo's serves as a place to take the overflow from the superior Tomatoes, located just across the street.
