Old Homestead is an original, a classic steakhouse that has been a New York institution since 1868. Greg and Marc Sherry, who created the decadent Kobe beef burger which became a national sensation, opened a second location of Old Homestead Steak House at Borgata. They are the first in three generations of their family to do so. The location is different, the design is breathtakingly new, but everything else that has made Old Homestead an enduring success is the some. And, just like the original, the Old Homestead Steak House at Borgata leaves you with an undeniable feeling of "Wow!". Everything old is new again.
CUISINE
Old Homestead has spent more than a century in the heart of New York's meatpacking district. Its deep-rooted connections to well-established meat purveyors will enable Old Homestead at Borgata to obtain the finest product available. All of this is reflected in its New York menu, the same menu served at Borgata. Begin your meal with impeccably fresh oysters, clams, or shrimp from the raw bar. Follow that with a grilled-to-order steak from the extensive menu -- filet mignon, prime rib, rack of lamb or double-thick pork chops. Use their signature steak knives to slice into the signature dish, tender porterhouse with garlic potatoes. Or select one of the seafood specialties, like the three-tiered shellfish platter. Also, on the menu: domestically raised Kobe beef, the Japanese-inspired, hand-massaged meat which the Sherry's serve at their New York restaurant. Old Homestead also offers the world's most decadent burger made from 20 ounces of this ultra tender beef; a piece of herb butter appears in the middle of each patty, which comes on a special roll with exotic mushrooms and microgreens. Lighter fare comes in the form of the Homestead chopped salad, and seared Yellow Fin tuna.
After dining on the finest cuts of meat and seafood imaginable, dessert is a must. And like the classic dishes that appear on the lunch and dinner menus, Old Homestead's dessert menu features sweet treats at their best. Whether you go for the triple chocolate mousse cake or Old Homestead's world famous cheesecake, your dessert finishes your meal on a sweet note.

!st and 2nd visit.
A few months ago we visited the Old Homestead and had a spectacular meal. This time the experience was horrible. My wife ordered the clams casino and they were great. She also ordered French Onion Soup and it tasted like it was made with gravey master. I ordered the 32oz. prime rib done medium, which according to your menu is pink in the center. Unfortunately I think it was still mooing. The waiter deducted the soup from the bill and wrapped up what was left of my dinner so I could return home to cook it to my satisfaction. I am a little more tolerable than my wife. My evening was hell from that point on. It was her birthday the next day and this was supposed to be a good night for both of us.....

Wonderful Dinner
I just wanted to comment on the dinner we had at the Old Homestead the other night. My son and I had the filet mignon. It was the best that I have ever had. My husband and daughter in law had seafood. They raved about it. The service was excellent. I cannot wait to go back and dine there again.
