The atmosphere is a cross between "The Jetsons" and "The Brady Bunch." A delightful "outdoor" patio with a sunken fire-pit lounge and water-edged pathway is just the beginning. Have a seat at this patio that is somehow a combination of the past and the future and enjoy a cocktail and the sure-to-be live entertainment of party-harders navigating the water-edged pathway - because more than one pant leg is sure to get wet. Seriously though, talk about swanky. You've got to try the "Sammy Davis Room" (pictured here), a large flower-shaped dining pod with booths, communal ottoman and cocktail tables. And the food, though described as "whimsical", should be taken seriously. With a menu full of small plates, big plates and fun plates, there is something for everyone like Rad Na Thai chicken, tuna tartare potato skins and herb lamb chops. Signature drinks include the Dean Martini with Ketel One vodka and an olive served with a Lucky Strike and a book of matches, the Buzz Aldrin with Tang (yes, they still make that), peach vodka and Triple Sec, served in an orange Tang-rimed glass, and a Dirty Shirley with cherry vodka, grenadine and 7 UP. Open for lunch, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., and brunch, Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until midnight, and on Friday and Saturday until 1 a.m. For more information, call 609-674-8300.
