EDITORIAL REVIEW
This simple, dark, two-room establishment just steps from Tropicana is second only to White House Subs for local notoriety. One of the two rooms is a 24-hour bar, and the other is the restaurant side of the operation that creates AC's most legendary pizza. Take the staff with a grain of salt and don't ask for slices when you order pizzas. Trust us on both counts.
There is also a long-standing piece of Atlantic City urban legend surrounding Tony's: according to lore, the Atlantic City Police Department didn't build their new building across the street from Tony's because the land was cheap, if you get our drift.

Not that special..... 3.0 Stars
Family members will turn over in their graves over this but the pizza tastes just like "Chef Boyardee" make at home pizza. Grew up there and went countless times as a kid with family. Great place for families with noisy kids and for getting drunk. I never cared for the torn and flattened seat cushions or the stained and ready to fall ceiling tiles or even the cooks smoking in the kitchen. Overall, I'd have to be extremely hungry to eat in there again. One note, the bread was always the best. I give that a "15".
