Mac daddy. King. Da bomb. Subs from White House have been shipped all over the world and really do have a worldwide reputation. It's one of those places that you go just to say you were there, but at least here there's a payoff for going. The payoff comes in the form of a usually long line, staff that may or may not need to work on their people skills and a near-guarantee of takeout since the line for tables often exceeds the line to renew your driver's license. But after all that, you'll chow down on one of the best subs you've ever had, period. Get this: White House, according to the Zagat Survey, outranks Chef Vola. Get the Special, Italian, or a cheesesteak. Just freakin' unreal. By the way, it's not the ingredients in the hot subs that make the roll warm to the touch. The Formica Brothers bakery is right down the street and they deliver rolls fresh all day. Chances are your roll is fresh out of the oven.

I grew up in AC and have great memories of eating subs as the White House with my father. I now live in Colorado and crave a good White House sub on a weekly basis. It's usualy the first place I visit when I go home.

Dear Sir, We were there August of 2007 we 3 Large Subs had them cut in half to carry out you 6 Halfs we took down to Wildwood of cource i boght a T-Shirt with WhiteHouse Subs on it, i show People in Youngstown how good there subs were they have to come to N.E. Ohio like Y-Town.From, AL Matasy

One of the reasons I come to Atlantic City. Wish it was in Pittsburgh. Planning to be in AC at the end of October and will get a sub.
