Prepare yourself for comedy in its newest, most revolutionary form. Jim Breuer has already established himself as a powerful comedian through his incredible stand-up performances, 4 years on SNL, and his numerous movie roles. But now, Jim dares to take his show to the next level with the introduction of the Lighten Up Comedy Tour!
Jim Breuer's Heavy Metal Comedy Tour was born on December 9th 2000 when Jim unleashed his Rock-n-Comedy assault on an unsuspecting, standing room only crowd at New York City's, Irving Plaza. An event of such epic proportions, that it will surely change the face of comedy as we know it. "You rock hard and laugh harder," Jim says. The Breu Crue work as Jim's backing band to compliment each routine with the perfect musical background. New routines such as "Baked at the Zoo" or "Coming Home at 4AM" have already become cult faves and Breuer favorites like "Party in the Stomach" and "Goatboy" have received a musical facelift. Classic Jim impressions such as Joe Pesci are not forgotten but make sure you check out Jim as Brian Johnson of AC/DC and The Breu Crue's version of The Hokey Pokey.
Music Box: The Music Box, which is also the Comedy Club, hosts top notch talent in an intimate 1000 seat theater.
