If low prices and local flair are what you seek, look no further. AC Bar & Grill was a small pizzeria 25 years ago, and now it's a huge bi-level full-menu icon. For many years while he would perform in AC (and while he was still drinking) George Carlin was known to hold court at the downstairs bar either between or after his shows. Most of the autographed memorabilia on the walls wasn't purchased that way, either. The menu is downright spectacular and comparatively lower-priced than most other bars in the market, and their local nightlife is second-to-none, especially on Tuesday nights. The food is also surprisingly good. You'll be amazed at what you get for the money including the $10 lobster dinner that is occasionally available. Other menu highlights include the crabs, pizzas and burgers.
