Back Bay Ale House

Located in Gardner's Basin on the north end of Absecon Island, the Back Bay Ale House has a fairly standard but seafood-heavy pub menu. Views of the Inlet and the Marina district are spectacular, as is the seashore ambiance. Back Bay is the only restaurant in Atlantic City where boaters can pull up for dinner, since there are slips right in the restaurant's backyard. In season, there's often a wait for the best spots near the restaurant. Dress is predictably on the far side of casual given the seaside location and the boat access. For the best views, try to get seats on the upstairs enclosed deck. Outdoor dining without nature's interference: who could complain?
