The House of Blues Atlantic City (on the Boardwalk inside of The Showboat Casino) has the first private membership club of its kind in Atlantic City, the Foundation Room, which offers members and their guests luxurious upscale dining and world-class hospitality amidst Indonesian-inspired decor. The restaurant in the Foundation Room is a four-star restaurant with André Jacquet as the Executive Chef, a man that has apprenticed with such notables as Jean-Louis Palladin and Emeril Lagasse. Besides dining and multiple bars, the club contains numbers private rooms which are great for groups. The balcony (private to the Foundation Room members) overlooks the boardwalk and the ocean, and may be the best view from a bar in the city.
The Foundation Room also benefits the International House of Blues Foundation (IHOBF). IHOBF is dedicated to promoting cultural understanding and creative expression through music and art. IHOBF conducts its Blues Schoolhouse program for local children. For more information, www.ihobf.org.
