Maynard's Cafe

Maynard’s is a Margate institution that’s open (and popular) year-round. It went through some controversy in 2008 and was closed for a while, but it bounced back better than ever by taking that time to completely renovate the building. Maynard’s is on the same block as the upscale Tomatoe’s, but even after the renovations, it’s a jeans & tee shirt, beer-drinking kind of place. One of the favorite aspects of Maynard’s is the outdoor beer garden. It’s a great opportunity to soak up the suds and the sunshine. It’s packed almost every night of the week during the summer with a good mix of locals, seasonal locals, the young and the…mature. Maynard’s is a good time.
