The Sand Box is Caesars' beach bar offering a variety of food, drinks, and amenities all summer long as weather permits. It is not actually a sandbox, so don't bring a plastic pail and shovel and get to work. Not that I've tried. Really.
Construction on the Pier right next to the beach is hard to ignore, but Caesars does its best by providing lots of live music. You can find live bands playing several nights a week and all day on weekends.
The Sand Box offers summertime drinks, including homemade Pina Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiris, Margaritas, a variety of draft and bottled beer, as well as a limited food menu. The Sand Box beach bar is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are as follows: Sunday through Thursday from 12 noon to midnight; and Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 2 a.m.
In addition to the Sand Box beach bar, Caesars will offer beach chair and umbrella rentals, as well as personal cabanas with hammocks. Guests can also rent bicycles from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
