Nice poker room that attracts a lot of very good local players. The Trop is Atlantic City's old-school poker room. It has a great atmosphere for playing down and dirty cards. Everyone in the rooms looks like they've been there for at least 12 hours - which only adds to the excitement. You still get amenities such as table-side food service and numerous plasma TVs. You won't find many donkeys here.
The Trop has their own poker comp system where you can earn points toward food and lodging. If you have a Poker Club card and want to check your balance, call 1-888-POKER-AC.

Features 48 tables and seating availability for 16 race enthusiasts. Tableside food service available and more than 100 monitors to watch races or sports. Variety of the most popular games including No Limit Hold ’em, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha. Live action, tournament and private tables are available on a daily basis. The Poker Club uses a customized rating system that tracks your play by "zapping" your poker club card every hour, while you’re playing in a live game. Each live game earns comp dollars from 50 cents to $2.00 per hour. Comp dollars are valid for up to one year from date earned. Partial or full comps may be used towards room charges, including taxes and room fees. Tournaments are offered seven days a week with a variety of buy-ins and start times. |
