The Walk is a collection of outlet stores, smaller shops and restaurants situated directly off the Atlantic City Expressway between the Boardwalk and convention center. The shops are a welcome addition for visitors who'd like to spend some quality shopping time away from the casinos. The area is just far enough away to get a nice stroll, but close enough that hauling your bags back to the hotel room won't be too much of a problem.
The Walk was constructed by the Cordish Company, the same firm that's responsible for other retail complexes such as The Power Plant in Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Trolley Square in Salt Lake City. Shops at the Walk include Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Mikasa and Liz Claiborne.
